Why this chateau?
The Melník chateau was built on a vineyard above the confluence of the Vltava River and the Elbe, overlooking the sacred Mount Rip, and for more than ten centuries it is one of the most important historical symbols of Bohemia.
Wedding spaces
Wedding ceremonies at the Melnik chateau take place in luxurious historical places.
For church wedding is chapel of St. Ludmila. For outdoor are a romantic setting of the chateau garden or the entire courtyard of the chateau.
As a specialty, we offer the Lobkowicz Private Terrace overlooking the confluence of the Elbe with the Vltava river or the spectacular private park with the Rocky chateau Hořín in the background. For lovers of unusual weddings, we have the medieval atmosphere of the chateau cellars, founded by Charles IV.
