Why this chateau?
On the outskirts of Prague, a stone’s throw away from the Southern Town, the Průhonice Castle is located, surrounded by a unique park, rightfully listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is a landscape masterpiece, established in 1885 by Count Silva Tarouca. Throughout the four seasons, the park offers a beautiful scenery not just for romantic walks, but for hosting wedding ceremonies themselves. Blooming magnolias, rhododendrons, and roses are as splendid as a veil of colourful autumn leaves.
Wedding ceremonies (civil, religious, symbolic) can be hosted inside in the Knights Hall, outside on the scenic terrace of the Inner Courtyard or any other chosen place in the Park. You can combine a ceremony in the courtyard with a toast in the meadow (or by the lake) with an evening feast in the hall. Come spend your festive day with us!
Organization of the ceremony is provided by employees of the municipal office.
As all wedding ceremonies happen during normal visiting hours, it is essential that all wedding guests respect instructions of employees of the municipal office and the Průhonice Park Management staff.
